Yesterday, the Georgia NAACP and Atlanta NAACP stood in solidarity with the family of Nygil Cullins in a powerful protest demanding justice and accountability. Nygil Cullins' life was tragically cut short, and we gathered to honor his memory and call for meaningful change in our community.
The protest, held at Fogo De Chao Resturant in Buckhead, drew a diverse crowd of supporters, all united by a shared commitment to justice. Powerful speeches from community leaders, activists, and family members highlighted the urgent need for transparency and reform in our justice system.
We were moved by the strength and resilience of Nygil’s family as they shared their painful journey and their unwavering determination to seek justice for their beloved son and brother. Their courage inspires us all to continue fighting against systemic racism and injustice.
The Georgia NAACP reaffirms our dedication to supporting the Cullins family and all families who have suffered from police violence. We demand a thorough investigation into Nygil Cullins' death and call for accountability for those responsible.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Cullins family. Together, we will continue to fight for a world where every life is valued and protected.
